Brock takes a global approach to understanding the source of body pain by tracing structural and neurological adaptations from old injuries and repetitive strain. Some forms of body compensation Brock addresses include joint restrictions, muscle weakness, muscle guarding, sensory receptor dysfunction, nociceptor hypersensitivity, and autonomic dysregulation. By identifying the source of compensatory movement strategies through the body's ability to absorb and dissipate ground reaction forces, Brock establishes a treatment plan that focuses on problem resolution rather than symptom management. He combines Chiropractic care, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, myofascial release techniques, NKT®, P-DTR®, Anatomy in Motion (AiM), ELDOA method as well as other strategies in his practice to help patients decrease pain levels and optimize movement efficiency.
Brock is a Toronto sports fan of all kinds, with a special affinity for the Toronto Blue Jays. A previous competitive baseball player, he now enjoys tennis with his wife, treatball with his dog, Snickers, and any and all forms of games with his son, Emmitt.
Favourite ligament: coracoacromial ligament - this ligament is often overlooked but is crucial for efficient movement between the collarbone and shoulder blade. Treating this ligament has lead to high patient satisfaction and is directly responsible for many referrals.
